UPDATE!!!

The Hugh DEFner EP is pretty much finished. Bout 10/11 tracks total.

When I first started the tape back in late 2009, I had an idea to craft the best beats and make the best project ever. 2 heartbreaks later, 4 months of emotional torment, a deleted facebook acct, and 40 beats later, I have successfully crafted a tape that will do 1 of 3 things:

The first (I hope to do) is make a name for myself as a producer, so people will stop thinking all I do are Drake, Madonna, and Jay-Z remixes.

The second being promote the artists affiliated on this tape. Although most of these guys you probably never heard of til now, they all played their parts and contributed greatly to this project. I can't confirm their involvement in the next series, but I'm sure I'll be shooting them more beats or at least hosting their projects in the near future.

And finally, I plan to show the 1 person who inspired me (YOU KNOW WHO U ARE!) to scrap the project and start ALL over that SHE was the motivation for this mixtape. Regardless of all the bullshit, she was my heart, and due to some unforeseen event(s) I'm pretty sure we'll probably never speak again.

But no need to cry over spilled milk, people, the "Hugh DEFner" mixtape is done. The name implies many sorts of negative connotations, and it's meant to be that way. No I'm not a playboy. No I don't have many bitches begging to 'boof' or 'swallow me' as a matter of fact, I'm far from that type of guy believe it or not (blame it on my aformentioned ex who turned me into this EMO dude lol). The "REAL" reason I chose Hugh DEFner as the name of the tape is because it was a fly play on words. If it makes sense, just call it "When Did You Fall In Love With HD part 3" because in essence, that's what it really is, I just didn't want to continue after the classic that was part 2 (When Did You Fall Back in Love With HD-google it and download it it's really great!)

I have a plan for this "Hugh DEFner" mixtape, and I'm really hoping it does the #'s I think it will as far as downloads. It's been so long since I put out an actual DJ HI-DEF project. I wonder if people forgot about my 'hits of 2010' lol Yes believe it or not that 'remix' you were jamming in your ipods last summer was probably one of my joints. You're all welcome.

Shouts to everyone that helped me with this project, and those that visit this site and follow me on twitter. You are a blessing! And I hope you continue to support my work in the future.

God Bless and have a great week!

Now I'm really gone until Valentine's Day! Peace!
